Our pediatric team combines medical expertise with a warm, gentle approach that helps children feel comfortable and parents feel confident. We listen, care, and partner with families to support every child’s healthy growth and development.
Dr. Heather (Chana) Cook earned her medical degree from the Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University and completed her pediatric internship and residency at NYU. She has broad experience in well-child care, sick visits, asthma management, and vaccinations, with prior practice in Yonkers and the Bronx. Dr. Cook is affiliated with Mount Sinai Medical Center and has been with CMADC since 2015.

Avrohom Gurvitsch is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a diverse medical background spanning paramedicine, nursing, and advanced practice. Certified at SUNY Downstate, he emphasizes pediatric care and is committed to high standards and strong patient advocacy. His strengths include patient assessment, counseling, and health education, along with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Lauren Bourdeau, MSN, RN, FNP-BC, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner caring for patients across the lifespan. She holds degrees in psychology and nursing and earned her MSN from St. John Fisher University. Her experience includes pediatrics, oncology, and complex care. Lauren is ANCC board certified and passionate about delivering compassionate, family-centered care, especially in pediatrics.
